Protection policy
The purpose of the Protection Policy is to protect children, women, the elderly, the mentally ill, and people with disabilities who may be at risk from any adverse effects that may arise from their relationship with the Development Solutions NGO. Problems with negative consequences include:
- Inappropriate attitudes and relationships of employees;
- Risks that may occur in the planning or implementation of any project, program, or activity.
This Protection Policy is an integral part of the Development Solutions NGO policy document and should be introduced to all staff, partners and customers. It is everyone's responsibility to protect each other.
In general, protection policy is a policy of protecting the rights of citizens who have not been able to achieve positive results of development progress and are more likely to be negatively affected. It also includes actions to be avoided, actions that can reduce and eliminate negative environmental and social consequences. The concept of child protection in Mongolia addresses the issue of the right to protection granted to all persons under the age of 18 under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Mongolian law.
International organizations, that Development Solutions NGO is members of, such as the Youth Business International and the Global Social Entrepreneurship Network, interpret the protection policy as a protection of citizens' health, well-being, human rights, and protection from harm and violence. For Development Solutions, it is about protecting any units such as board members, staff, customers, partners from any issues that may arise from the organization's activities.
