{"id":2539,"date":"2022-12-02T16:38:43","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T08:38:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dsmongolia.org\/?post_type=newsers&#038;p=2539"},"modified":"2022-12-24T10:25:55","modified_gmt":"2022-12-24T02:25:55","slug":"business-consultant","status":"publish","type":"newsers","link":"https:\/\/dsmongolia.org\/en\/newsers\/business-consultant\/","title":{"rendered":"Business Consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a><strong>Vacancy<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Position:<\/strong> &nbsp;Business Consultant<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Salary per month:<\/strong> 2,300,000MNT &#8211; 2,500,000MNT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Duration of the contract:<\/strong> A year (with possible extension by evaluation result)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Switching On the Green Economy (SOGE)<\/strong> 3-year project\u2019s <strong>overall objective is <\/strong>to contribute to progressive transition to low-carbon, resource-efficient circular economy and accelerated poverty reduction in Mongolia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Development Solutions (DS), People in Need (PIN), Mongolia Sustainable Finance Association (MSFA) and Caritas Czech Republic (CCR), bring unique technical expertise and experience to support MSMEs and retailers in gradual adoption of more sustainable business models and complement national efforts to put in place and scale up a fair and transparent system for green certification and eco-labelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Development Solutions NGO<\/strong> Established in August 2008, Development Solutions is a Mongolian non-governmental organization (NGO) that strives to achieve its goals and mission through implementing programs and projects with a support of donor organizations such as USAID, Oyu Tolgoi, KOICA, Asian Foundation UN etc. Our mission is to improve the quality of community life, develop Mongolian business capacity and support environmentally responsible social and economic growth through innovative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objective of the position<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With a close collaboration with program and operation team of partner organizations to work and assist in the implementation of the project under the supervision of the project coordinator. (S)he will be responsible overall project implementation activity and ensure that the project is moving on time within the scope of framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Provide technical assistance to MSMEs in developing business plans and functions;<\/li><li>Deliver capacity building interventions including business trainings and tailored consultations to MSMEs;<\/li><li>Facilitate and organize the participation of MSMEs in the project\u2019s capacity building activities;<\/li><li>Establish, maintain and develops a strong relationship with partner organizations and other stakeholders;<\/li><li>Support procurement processes in timely manner in collaboration with financial officers;<\/li><li>Support the monitoring and evaluation system for economic governance improvement;<\/li><li>Follow-up, on a daily basis, with project partners to ensure smooth implementation of project activities<\/li><li>Prepare and support the timely preparation and submission of progress report, documents and other relevant audit and financial documents<\/li><li>Translation of project\u2019s documents interpretation from English into Mongolian and vice versa.<\/li><li>Preform any other tasks assigned by the project Coordinator and other managers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bachelor or Higher Degree in Business administration or related field<\/li><li>Capacity in delivery of capacity building activities including business trainings and consultations preferred;<\/li><li>Good understanding of business environment;<\/li><li>Fluent in written and spoken English;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The intent of this job description is to provide a representative and level of the types of duties and responsibilities that will be required of positions given this title and shall not be construed as a declaration of the total of the specific duties and responsibilities of any particular position.
